Privacy policy and terms of service

Last updated: 1 August 2026. This page explains who operates CVRobot, how personal data is used and the terms that apply when you create and download a resume.

Operator and contact

CVRobot is operated by Michaela Karmazín, IČO 88619630, Bystrc č.ev. 2438, 635 00 Brno, Czech Republic. Contact: [email protected]. The business details can be checked in the Czech public register ARES.

Data we process and why

  • Resume data, including contact details, work history, education, skills and an optional photo, to generate, preview, edit and deliver your resume. The legal basis is performance of the service you request.
  • Payment records, such as transaction identifier, amount and payment status, to complete the purchase, prevent fraud and meet accounting obligations. Card details are processed by Stripe and are not stored by CVRobot.
  • Support messages to answer requests and resolve problems.
  • Necessary service and transaction e-mails, such as payment, refund, secure-access and support confirmations, to deliver the resume service you requested. Promotional e-mails require a separate opt-in.
  • Technical and security data, such as IP address and server logs, where needed to operate and protect the service.
  • Analytics and advertising identifiers only after you consent through the cookie notice. You can refuse and still use the resume builder.

We do not sell personal data. Necessary providers may process limited data for hosting, e-mail delivery, payments (Stripe), security and, after consent, measurement or advertising (Google and Meta). Some providers may process data outside the EEA using the safeguards they describe in their privacy terms.

Retention and your choices

Resume and operational data are kept only for the period needed to deliver and support the service, then deleted or anonymised according to the project’s retention routines. Payment and accounting records may be retained for the period required by law. You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw optional consent at any time.

Terms of the resume service

  • You may start creating and previewing a resume without registration. Before a paid download, the current one-time price and what is included are shown clearly. CVRobot does not sell a recurring subscription through this generator.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you enter. Do not enter another person’s data without authority.
  • After successful payment, the service provides access to the completed PDF and the stated editing period. Keep the management links sent to you secure.
  • If a duplicate payment or a technical failure prevents delivery, contact support with the e-mail used for the resume and the payment reference. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
  • The templates assist with presentation, but CVRobot does not guarantee an interview, job offer or compatibility with every employer’s recruitment system.

We may update these terms when the service or legal requirements change. The date above identifies the current version.
